This web site offers quick access to useful information such as:

  • Maps showing submerged marine contacts



The nearshore survey areas are divided into seven work areas.  Clicking on any one of these work areas will yield a map of that work area divided into specific map tiles.  Clicking on a map tile will yield a more detailed map of the debris targets/contacts encountered within that map area


  • Marine debris coordinates for each map tile



Above each map tile, you will find a list of links:
Return Click on this link to go “up” one level within the site.
Download Target Map PDF Click on this link to download the map tile you are viewing in PDF format. If you are unable to view PDF files on your computer, click on the "Get ADOBE® READER®" icon in the Navigation Bar at the left of this screen to download a free PDF reader program.
Download Target Data PDF Click on this link to display and download data on individual targets in PDF format.  Data includes coordinates in Decimal Degrees only, also height, length, width, and depth
Download Excel File Click on that link to download an Excel table with marine debris coordinates in three formats as well as the debris item clearance and estimated length, width, and height.  Coordinates in Decimal Degrees, Degrees Decimal Minutes, and Degrees Minutes Seconds.
